Boise is known as the City of Trees, which means it's naturally a wonderful place for birdwatching. The area's mountains, rivers, and forests are home to thousands of species of birds, some only found in the Pacific Northwest. Birdwatching is a fun and relaxing way to experience nature, and every year, when warmer weather sets in, many locals head out to their favorite birdwatching destinations around the city.
